Safety

What the app actually does.

This page only describes pieces that are in TeenJobz today. It does not add rules the app does not enforce.

Conversations happen in the app

Messages about a job stay in TeenJobz, on that job. You can open the thread from the job or from the Messages tab.

People rate each other

A profile has two kinds of ratings: as a worker, and as the person who posted the job. Finished jobs are counted on the profile.

You choose what a post shows

A job post can include the type of work, price, time, a note, and contact details the poster decides to show. Other people using the app can see what was posted.

Location is optional

The privacy policy says TeenJobz may use precise or approximate location, with permission, to show nearby jobs. You can turn location off in the phone’s settings. Some parts of the map will not work without it.

Accounts can be deleted

Profile includes a way to delete the account. The privacy policy also says you can ask for deletion, subject to what the service has to keep for legal and operational reasons.

Not for children under 13

The privacy policy says the app is not intended for children under 13, and that TeenJobz does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Payment is not handled in the app

The price lives on the job and the bid. The privacy policy describes card payments as something that might be offered later. TeenJobz does not process those payments in the app today.
